SOFT TISSUE RELEASE
What is SOFT TISSUE RELEASE?

Soft Tissue Release is a manual therapy technique where a pressure (a stabilizing force) is exerted on the muscle or connective tissue during movement (tension) to impart a stretch or lengthening. In order to maximize the effect, the pressure point is relocated during the technique to target different sections of the restricted muscle or connective tissue. .

How does SOFT TISSUE RELEASE help?
Many conditions are characterized by decreased mobility and range of motion. In addition to the rigors of everyday life and work, many patients commonly struggle to rehabilitate their condition due to tissue stiffness or tightness. By releasing tight muscles, muscular bands and adhesions, restoration of mobility can allow the patient to better participate and complete therapeutic exercises and daily functional activities.
What should I expect with SOFT TISSUE RELEASE?

Release of soft tissues can vary between conditions. In general, you should feel a 'therapeutic' pain followed by an increase in range of motion and pain relief during movement. Please notify your practitioner if you are feeling pain during treatment.
